Nine Inch Nails Music Albums

Nine Inch Nails is an Industrial rock band that was formed in 1988 in Cleveland, Ohio, United States by Trent Reznor, the only constant member of the band. Reznor is generally credited for popularizing the genre known as "industrial rock" with both his releases and dark, theatrical music videos. As of 2016, the band also officially includes Reznor's longtime collaborator Atticus Ross as a second official member. Born Michael Trent Reznor, he was raised by his maternal grandparents in Mercer, Pennsylvania, USA. Reznor took up piano at the age of five and in high school took up the tuba and saxophone. In the early to mid-80s, Trent played with various synthpop and new wave groups such as Exotic Birds and Option 30 before beginning his solo project. As a member of Exotic Birds, he appeared in the Michael J. Fox and Joan Jett film Light of Day. He also was mentioned on local TV as a proponent of electronic music in general.
